I like to think that I have a habit of “reaching for the stars”… some might say that I have a habit of “biting off more than I can chew”… depends on your perspective I suppose. Regardless, for my first eBay auction, I have decided to auction a car!

My mother recently got a new car and, when she did, my sister got a new car too… my mother’s old car. Thus, my sister had an extra car (her old car) which she was not interested in keeping nor putting in the time to sell… Ergo, I now have a car to sell!

Meet “Gemma”:

In all honesty, I’ve been preparing to sell ol’ Gemma, a beautiful blue ‘96 Ford Taurus, for about a month now.

First I cleaned out all my sister’s junk (shoes, papers, soda cans, even a beach chair). Then, I gave her a thorough vacuuming. Finally, I finished the job with a good old fashioned car washing. All told, it took me the better part of a day to complete these tasks. While more cleaning could definitely have been done, I had reached the point of diminishing returns… and Gemma was lookin’ good!

So, with Gemma looking all pretty and ready to sell, I logged onto eBay to find out how to sell her…
